ik vind de ondertoon zeer positief.

zoals:

Zelf verwacht ik dat de koers wel weer op kan krabbelen richting 10 euro. Ik vond de daling wel erg groot namelijk. Ik blijf er vol in zitten, wellicht dat ik rond 12 euro maximaal 20% van mijn aandelen ga verkopen.

hopelijk kunnen ze in Q2 flinke resultaten boeken om de 12-14euro range weer te bereiken.

Nee zo slecht als de markt reageerde paar weken geleden ziet het er zeker niet uit, sterker ik zie veel positieve aspecten, in dit negatieve beursklimaat (Amerika-China, brexit, Italië, is dit een top prestatie, en zie ik de toekomst zeer positief voor Sopheon.

Omzet lag 9,4% achter op 24-7. Nu nog 6,6%. We halen wat achterstand in. Marge ok. Kosten zijn beter onder controle dan ik had verwacht.
Recurring revenue had ik op peildatum 30-6 toch wat hoger verwacht.
Blijft spannend, mede door economische ontwikkelingen wereldwijd.

Sopheon reassured investors today, but this AIM high-flyer is still short of the highs seen in 2018.

A month after losing a fifth of its market value, AIM-listed enterprise software business Sopheon (LSE:SPE) won back investors today by insisting that its prospects "have never been brighter".

Shares rose 9% to 842p as Sopheon said weaker half-year revenues and earnings should not be allowed to cloud its growth potential following several years of impressive expansion.

The first-half downturn, which Sopheon flagged in a trading update last month, was blamed on an unusually strong comparative from 2018 and a shift back to a more traditional second half weighting in this year's results.

Sopheon noted that market and commercial momentum was increasing, with a 48% rise in sales pipeline value between January and June expected to drive a strong second half. Both the volume of deals and number of larger deals in the pipeline have risen to all-time highs.

The proportion of Software as a Service (SaaS) business in the expanded pipeline has risen sharply, accelerating the transition to a higher recurring revenue model and greater lifetime customer revenue.

Chairman Barry Mence said: “The future prospects of the business have never been brighter, and we do not believe this first half pause in the impressive financial performance of the past several years has a bearing on Sopheon’s unique potential and growth opportunity.

"The business remains profitable and cash generative, and our balance sheet is stronger than ever."

Analyst Andrew Darley at house broker finncap said Mence's optimism was supported by the company's record of achieving three years of second half growth ahead of City expectations. He added that investors would grasp the prospect of “better quality but mildly tamed growth” while SaaS should also enhance multi-year visibility.

Darley reiterated his price target of 1,425p, which represents an upside of 85% to last night's closing price. This is higher than the 1,370p recorded in December, which marked the peak for Sopheon shares in a remarkable 2018 that saw the stock surge as much as 270%.

Sopheon, which has operating bases in the UK, United States, Germany and the Netherlands, provides customers with enterprise innovation management solutions, enabling them to achieve long-term revenue growth. It launched the first version of its Accolade software in 2001.

One area of opportunity is the digital transformation market, where Sopheon can digitalise corporate strategic initiatives into a single platform.

Ja dat klopt denk ik Arie, maar die verschuiving is nog niet in de feitelijk omzet terug te vinden (wel in de pijplijn), gezien de geringe toename van de Recurring Revenue.
Ik denk dat onderstaande quote hier ook op duidt

Wat me verder opvalt is dat Soof/Mence nogal moeite doen om te benadrukken dat het goed komt/zit met Soof:
- The future prospects of the business have never been brighter
- The underlying market and commercial momentum is increasing
- With unprecedented activity and higher value in our sales funnel, we continue to anticipate rising deal flow and traction through the balance of the year.
- ...Sopheon can add significant value to our customers. The potential addressable market for this opportunity is very substantial. Sopheon continues to benefit from increased market recognition....
- The sales teams are extremely busy working on closing this pipeline in the second half of the year, giving us confidence...

Nog een vraag: kan/wil iemand kort uitleggen wat hier bedoeld wordt? (At the root of our customer extension strategy is the concept of different use cases that leverage the Accolade platform beyond product innovation>>wordt blijkbaar gezien als een mogelijkheid om omzet toe te voegen?!) thx alvast!

onder het kopje Strategy and Product staat bij het eerste pijltje:
"At the root of our customer extension strategy is the concept of different use cases that leverage the Accolade platform beyond product innovation. We have identified fourteen different use cases that have already been deployed by our customers, in many cases without our proactive effort; these represent a substantial revenue opportunity in the customer base. In 2019 we plan to introduce and actively market three of the fourteen to generate additional growth. The first, Strategic Initiative Management, was introduced in the first half of the year, and the remaining two will be introduced in the second half."

blijkbaar zijn er andere toepassingen door bestaande klanten bedacht voor gebruik van Accolade platform die buiten de door Sopheon vermarkte product innovatie scope vallen. S wil dit nu (pro-actiever) in de markt plaatsen / onder de aandacht brengen bij (vooral) bestaande klanten. Zo zal Accolade mogelijk in andere delen / processen van de klantorganisatie kunnen worden uitgerold. Waarmee meer gebruikers en dito revenue etc...

If so, lijkt me een prima ontwikkeling tritrace. Zou best willen weten welke (andere) toepassingen binnen de bedrijfsprocessen dit zou betreffen en dan bovenal welke toegevoegde waarde dit daarbij kan leveren. Het is niet ondenkbaar dat die zo mogelijk groter kan zijn dan waar platform nu voor bedoeld is. Wellicht in de supply chain: sourcing / contracting / procurement?
