Mijns inziens is de claim dat SMCI al weet dat ze van de beurs gaan, behoorlijk overtrokken. Wie een passage uit de 8K kan laten zien die dit bevestigt, krijgt van mij een lollie.

Wat wél klopt, is dat er een risico op delisting is als ze niet aan hun verplichtingen voldoen. Nasdaq heeft SMCI tot 25 februari 2025 gegeven om hun vertraagde 10-K en 10-Q in te dienen. En het bedrijf heeft zelf aangegeven dat ze van plan zijn om deze rapporten op tijd te publiceren.

Verder is er geen melding van boekhoudkundige fraude in hun SEC-filings, en SMCI heeft ook gezegd dat er geen herziening van eerdere financiële verslagen nodig is. Wel lopen er onderzoeken van de SEC en het ministerie van Justitie na een short-seller rapport, maar dat betekent nog zeker niet automatisch dat het bedrijf richting Chapter 11 gaat.

Ik blijf gewoon zitten met mijn positie en wacht het report met spanning af

Ik ben de 19e weer ingestapt en zodra ik een winst van ca 1000 dollar kan verzilveren stap ik weer uit. Ga met dit aandeel niet meer lange termijn, er zijn volgens mij betere alternatieven

Volatiliteit ten top... gisteren bijna -12%, nu nabeurs +21%. Ben wel benieuwd wat de koers de komende dagen gaat doen en of Nvidia resultaten de Nasdaq nog gaan opschudden deze week.

Super Micro Computer filed its delayed 10-K late Tuesday. Shares of the AI server maker were up 22% in after-hours trading.

In the 10-K, accounting firm BDO said it had audited Super Micro’s consolidated financial statements for the year ending June 30, 2024 and found they “present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the Company” for that period.

The company also filed its quarterly reports for the periods ended Sept. 30 and Dec. 31.

“The Company is now current with its SEC financial reporting obligations,” Super Micro said in a press release late Tuesday. “The Company has received correspondence from the Nasdaq staff that the Company has regained compliance with the filing requirements, and the matter is now closed.”

Je kan nog wel eens een grote slag kunnen slaan. Ben benieuwd.

GOLDMAN SACHS DOWNGRADES SMCI TO SELL FROM BUY, LOWERS PT TO $32 FROM $40 ON AI SERVER COMPETITION, MARGIN PRESSURES

Analyst comments: "We downgrade Super Micro Computer to Sell from Neutral, with a new 12-month target price of $32 reflecting 9x NTM+1Y EPS (vs. $40 reflecting 10x prior). SMCI stock is up 38% year-to-date, making it the best performing stock in our Hardware coverage; with the stock trading at 16x F2025E P/E, we view risk-reward as unfavorable given downside risks on valuation, competition, and gross margins.

First, competition in AI servers is intensifying due in part to less product differentiation following R&D investments from competitors in recognition of the large market opportunity, which likely will pressure SMCI's early market share leadership in AI servers. Second, SMCI's gross margins likely will decline in F2025/26/27 on increasing competition, the Blackwell product transition, and pressure from its largest customers and suppliers, exacerbated by SMCI’s high levels of customer and supplier concentration.
