AMSTERDAM (FD.nl/Betten) - Hier volgt de tekst van het persbericht van Ballast Nedam .

On 9 May 2007 the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Ballast Nedam took place.

- All proposals of the Board of Management and the Supervisory Board were approved without dissenting votes.

- The appointment of Mr Theo Bruijninckx as chairman of the Board of Management and the appointments of Messrs Ruud Jacobs and Romeo Malizia as members of the Board of Management were communicated in the meeting. The intended appointments were met with positive reactions from the shareholders. This supported the Supervisory Board's decision that the appointments take effect on 13 August 2007.

- As announced earlier, Mr René Kottman will retire as chairman of the Board of Management in August 2007. The AGM expressed its thanks and appreciation for the splendid way in which he has been leading the company in the past eight years.
