Exact ‘Software Supplier of the Year 2007’; Rajesh Patel 'CEO of the Year 2007'
Delft, October 15, 2007 – For the second consecutive year, Exact Software has won the Computable Award in the category 'Software Supplier of the Year'. Furthermore, CEO Rajesh Patel has been voted 'CEO of the Year' for 2007. Readers of Dutch IT magazine Computable cast their votes based on a shortlist that also included Oracle, Microsoft, Unit4 and SAP. Exact, Levi9, IBM, Sogeti and Centric's CEOs were shortlisted for the CEO of the Year award.
Computable, the Netherlands’ largest IT magazine with a circulation of 75,000, asked its readers to vote on their favorite companies, leaders and projects for the Computable 2007 awards. Nominations were made by readers and visitors to the Computable.nl website. From the nominations, the editorial staff selected five finalists in each of sixteen award categories.
In total, Computable registered 31,000 votes. The 2007 categories included: IT Event of the Year, IT Researcher of the Year, Organization with the Best IT Support of the Year, IT Services Supplier of the Year, Most Innovative Government Organization of the Year, Most Socially Responsible Organization, IT Project of the Year, IT Healthcare Project of the Year, IT Logistics Project of the Year, CEO of the Year, CIO of the Year, Hardware Supplier of the Year, Software Supplier of the Year, IT Recruiter of the Year, IT Outsourcing Agency of the Year, and Network and Communications Supplier of the Year.
