Océ enters the 300+ppm high volume segment
FULL STORY
Océ has created a new speed segment in the ultra high volume market with the new Océ VarioPrint 6320 Ultra cutsheet printer, clocking in at 314 A4 prints per minute, making it the world’s fastest, most productive digital perfecting system.
The Océ VarioPrint 6320 is the centerpiece of the new Océ VarioPrint 6000 Ultra line, the fastest, most productive family of ultra high speed, high volume digital printing systems capable of printing both sides of the sheet in a single pass owing to Océ Gemini Instant Duplex technology. Océ has been developing this robust platform over the past three years to sustain monthly duty cycles of up to 10 million prints, adding functionality, modularity, finishing and media handling options, usability improvements and, with this launch, a considerable speed increase.
When it introduced the popular Océ VarioPrint 6000 family in 2006, Océ established leadership in the crowded cutsheet segment with the first system to exceed 200ppm. Now Océ again sets benchmarks for speed, reliability, performance and productivity with the Océ VarioPrint 6320 Ultra system, which establishes the standard for a new class of 300+ ppm ‘Ultra High Volume’ devices.
‘The original Océ VarioPrint 6000 series introduced corporate and commercial print operations to breakthrough levels of productivity, but that was just the first step. Océ once again raises the bar with the next evolution of award-winning Océ Gemini Instant Duplex technology and the world’s fastest cutsheet printer. Now customers can reach out to new markets and applications using proven perfecting press capabilities and ultra high speed and high volume capacity,’ said Bert van Agen, vice president, marketing and strategic planning, Océ-Technologies BV ‘We expect tremendous customer demand, given the outstanding capabilities of the Ultra platform.’
