Provincie Limburg investeert in nieuwe Océ printers
De Provincie Limburg heeft ruim € 1 miljoen geïnvesteerd in vijf nieuwe, grote printers van Océ. In het Reprocentrum van het Gouvernement in Maastricht zijn nu twee Océ VarioPrint 4120 printers, twee Océ CS665 printers en één Océ CS250 printer geïnstalleerd. Het Reprocentrum van de provincie produceert circa 9 miljoen prints per jaar, waarvan 3 miljoen in kleur.

Ook de provincies Zuid-Holland, Overijssel en Groningen en onder meer de gemeenten Asten, Gemert-Bakel, Haarlemmermeer, Hoogeveen, Laarbeek en Someren hebben, na afronding van de procedure voor Europese aanbesteding, meerjarige contracten met Océ afgesloten met een gezamenlijke waarde van ruim € 5 miljoen. Mede hierdoor is de sterke positie van Océ in de Nederlandse corporate markt herbevestigd.

AMSTERDAM (ANP) - De overnamegolf in de Verenigde Staten lijkt over te spoelen naar Nederland. Supermarktconcern Jumbo heeft bijna een half miljard euro over voor concurrent Super de Boer, Unilever lijfde vrijdag de merken Sanex, Zwitsal en Neutral in van de Amerikaanse concurrent Sara Lee voor dik 1,2 miljard euro.

,,Met het afwenden van de val van de wereldeconomie durven bedrijven weer'', aldus beleggingsstrateeg Ronald Doeswijk van Robeco. Hieronder een overzicht van in Nederland beursgenoteerde fondsen die circuleren op de overnamelijstjes van marktkenners.

Vastgoed

De crisis begon ruim twee jaar geleden toen de zeepbel op de Amerikaanse woningmarkt uiteenspatte. Aandelen van vastgoedfondsen liepen wereldwijd harde klappen op. Op het Damrak zijn VastNed Offices/Industrial en VastNed Retail, Eurocommercial Properties en Nieuwe Steen Investments daardoor 'koopjes' geworden.

Kabels

Kabelleverancier Draka uit Amsterdam staat op veel lijstjes. Maandenlange fusiegesprekken met de grotere Italiaanse concurrent Prysmian liepen uiteindelijk uit op een mislukking. Draka blijft wel zitten met het imago van aangeschoten wild.

Havens

Een vijandig bod van baggeraar Boskalis vorig jaar op havenbedrijf Smit Internationale mislukte, maar krijgt volgens kenners een vervolg. Dat zou vooral te maken hebben met de verschillende activiteiten van het Rotterdamse bedrijf die afzonderlijk meer zouden opleveren dan als een geheel.

Detailhandel

Beddenspecialist Beter Bed uit Uden lijdt onder de recessie. Consumenten houden de hand op de knip en stellen grote aankopen uit. Nu de markt weer wat aantrekt, gaat het gerucht dat Beter Bed een geschikte overnamekandidaat zou kunnen zijn nu de vooruitzichten zijn verbeterd.

Textiel

De verlieslatende textielfabrikant Gamma Holding blijft naarstig op zoek naar nieuw kapitaal. Een andere eigenaar zou uitkomst kunnen bieden. De frisse wind van de nieuwe topman Jan Alberts heeft volgens analisten een allesbepalende invloed.

Medicijnen

Het biotechnologiebedrijf Crucell sleepte de laatste maanden een aantal orders in de wacht, waaronder voor de ontwikkeling van een nieuw griepvaccin. Een overname waarbij geprofiteerd kan worden van veelbelovende deals lijkt volgens analisten niet ver weg. Het Amerikaanse Wyeth deed begin dit jaar een poging, maar dit mislukte nadat het zelf werd opgeslokt door het grotere Pfizer.

AMSTERDAM (FD.nl/DJ)--Oce komt vrijdag met derdekwartaalcijfers, waaruit zal blijken dat het bedrijf de vruchten plukt van de ingezette kostenreductieprogramma's, verwacht Fortis Bank Nederland. De analist gaat uit van een daling van de autonome omzet met 11%, tegen 8% een kwartaal eerder. Hij ziet een nettoverlies van euro 17,3 mln, bij een herstellend bedrijfsresultaat ten opzichte van het tweede kwartaal. Met ingang van 1 oktober 2009 heeft Océ-Nederland een nieuwe directeur in de persoon van Ton van Helvoort (61). Van Helvoort volgt Jan Verschaeren op, die per diezelfde datum benoemd is tot Directeur van de Business Unit Document Printing op het hoofdkantoor van de internationale Océ-groep.

Ton van Helvoort, die aan de Technische Universiteit van Eindhoven afstudeerde op het onderwerp Digitale Systemen, is sinds 1982 werkzaam bij Océ. De afgelopen 4 jaar gaf hij binnen Océ-Nederland leiding aan de divisie van Printing Systems voor het Grafische en Technische segment. Océ launches new office color multifunctionals.

Venlo, The Netherlands, 5 October 2009 — Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, today announced three new office color copier systems that complete the revamping of its office color multifunctional line. The new Océ VarioLink® systems — with color speeds of 22 to 36 ppm — offer copying, printing, scanning, faxing and finishing. They are designed to fit smoothly into office workflows so that users can quickly print documents and then get back to core tasks.
