Looking at the Reserves report and funding strategy RNS in April, see below, $360 million is required in total for phase 1b in 2013.
On 10th April, $50 million came from West Face Capital (unsecured loan)
On 13th June, placing raising £6.4 million = $10 million
On 22nd June, $155 Reserves based lending deal
On 19th July, second placing raising £8.3 million = $13 million
Profit from crude oil sales = $50 million (2013)
Total so far = $278 million, i.e. Xcite need another $82 million or there abouts. Not a lot! Still not sure why a farm in is required.
Also, phase 1b will not have 1 well operating. So this talk of the flow from the current lateral is nonsense. Again see the Reserves report, the field will be producing from several wells, up to 45,000 barrels per day.
