Welcome dear american friends. It's always nice to experience international interest in the pearl among dutch listed companies.
As you assume all dividends have been kept in the company, it is also good to see that you draw your conclusions as short through the corner as many of your valued dutch counterparts do. That's why we call them pleasant pears and we will gladly consider you part of that group.
I do have one consideration for you though : it's possible that you may have been misguided somewhat by Euronext-info concerning holdings of american shareholders. This info appears to be somewhat outdated. On the other hand, you probably know the american shareholders you mention. If that is the case, you can consider my remark as an old cow in the brook.
What's more, pleasant pears consider any mention to history of this stock as old cows in the brook, as the current company has absolutely no ties to the less successful predecessors that shared this listing. There's no risk at all that the former CEO/COO has left some dead corpses in the closet as he and his dear friend geert schaaij are considered to have sold their stake and don't have too tight bounds with the current board and management (rumour has it that the current CEO even stands on no good foot with former COO mr van veldhoven anymore, but this should be viewed as positive as it is proof that mr van veldhoven has closed this chapter).
Leaves me with only one final question. You may have noticed we have a FAQ available on this listing, but that is in dutch only. It is very important that you know the contents of the FAQ, as this sums up all the positive info. If you are prepared to take a long term stake in this company, i.e. you put your shares on the shelf, we can translate this FAQ, but as this involves kind some work, we need to know if that's worth de effort.
So could you please let us know if you will be investing for long term here ?
Thanks and again, you're very welcome here.
