Ik denk dat je 2 dingen door elkaar haalt. De test voor darmkanker en de test voor prostaatkanker. Bij de darmkankertest kan het idd om miljoenen gaan (= Cologuard van Exas). Bij prostaatkanker moet eerst een (pijnlijke) biopsie gedaan worden met de kans dat het 'vals' is. Confirm kan gebruikt worden om herhalingsbiopsieen te voorkomen.Minder pijnlijk en kostenbesparend. We mogen heel blij zijn als daar 100.000 van verkocht worden per jaar. maar ja dan praat je wel over een omzet van zo'n €200 miljoen .

MDxHealth to Participate in Prospective Clinical Validation Study with AssureMDx for Bladder Cancer

Study to Evaluate Ability to Reduce Invasive Procedures for Bladder Cancer Survivors and Allow Earlier Detection of Recurrence

IRVINE, CA, and HERSTAL, BELGIUM, November XX, 2015 - MDxHealth SA (Euronext: MDXH), announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam (Erasmus MC) for the inclusion of MDxHealth's AssureMDx for Bladder Cancer, a urine-based, liquid biopsy test, into a prospective clinical study designed to assess the ability of urine-based molecular tests to stratify patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) for recurrence monitoring.

A total of 2,000 urine samples from 435 patients will be collected in a, multi-center, two-arm, prospective randomized clinical trial financed by ZonMw, the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development and Erasmus MC. The study is designed to assess the test's ability to safely reduce the number of invasive cystoscopies performed during follow-up of patients with NMIBC with a low/intermediate risk of recurrence or progression. The study will also examine whether the addition of urine tests to follow-up of patients with higher risk of recurrence and progression leads to earlier detection of potentially dangerous recurrences. All urine samples will be tested using AssureMDx assay.

In the US and EU, over 170,000 patients are diagnosed with bladder cancer every year, and over 50,000 patients will die from the disease. Annually in the US alone, it is estimated that over 1 million patients with hematuria (blood in urine) are referred to urologists for fear of bladder cancer. The traditional tools and procedures employed for the detection of bladder cancer have some limitations, not the least of which are cost and invasiveness, but also these methodologies are prone to miss some small bladder tumors, satellite lesions as well as carcinoma in situ. Importantly, bladder cancer is one of the most expensive cancers to treat given more than half of all early stage bladder cancer patients will recur in the three years following treatment.

De PR afdeling onderbrengen bij Consilium lijkt een goede zet.
Alleen de koers moet nu eens een keer meegaan in lijn met de nieuwsberichten.

Mooi nieuws.Was eigenlijk al bekend. Nu officieel gepubliceerd. Ben benieuwd hoelang de studie gaat duren. En indien het resultaat positief is, ze de markt gaan betreden.

Hun site ligt plat op dit ogenblik. Niet bereikbaar! Maar ik denk dat het gaat over de uitgifte in het kader van de financiering van Noviogendix. Als Groen dit via Reuters laat weten dan is dit een marketingzet die hem van pas komt terwijl hij op de Investor-conference in New-York publiciteit maakt voor MDXH.

Als ze gaan blijven aandelen uitgeven gaan we hier nooit omhoog.
Vraag me af wanneer ik eens zal kunnen cashen met dit aandeel op 50€

Natuurlijk hebben ze geld nodig voor die overname en dat zal weer op de schouders rusten van de gewone belegger. Ze maken immers nog altijd verlies, dus dat geld voor die overname kunnen ze niet bij hunzelf gaan halen. Simpel toch.

De koers reageert helaas sneller dan MDX . Nog steeds geen reactie . Mijn bloeddruppel begint te koken .

Overigens weer een dramatisch laag volume .

Dit is m.i. geen reactie van jan-met-de-pet op die overname door Noviogendix van midden september. Hier gebruikt Mr. pain-in-the-@@@ dit voorwendsel om weer eens de koers naar benden te bonjouren.

We weten al van halverwege september dat mdx noviogendix overneemt en dat betaalt met cash én aandelen. Noviogendix gaat op deze deal in dit betekent dus ook dat ze op een hogere koers vertrouwen! Anders gaan ze toch vr uitsluitend cash?bovendien hebben ze veeeeel meer kennis over de ontwikkelingen binnen mdx gezien het hun vakgebied is. Maw ik vind dit een betekenisvolle blijk van vertrouwen. Klopt mijn redenering of zien jullie dit anders?

Helemaal eens Nature, het feit is alleen, dat dit andeel patent heeft op mega snel dalen van de koers, en het absoluut niet mag stijgen.
Alle seinen staan op groen, de boog staat strak gespannen, maar stijgen doet dit aandeel niet.

10 cent in de min, en waarom?
Hoeveel stegen we alweer op de cijfers en nieuwsberichten?
Al met al nog geen 7,5%.
Zie alleen al dat er op dit moment met geen enkel nieuws zomaar weer 2,5% van het aandeel afgesnoept word.

als grote aasgieren heel lang op een prooi zitten te wachten en er heel agressief over waken dan weet je dat die prooi te moeite waard is!
