Atlanta and Dordrecht, The Netherlands - 04 May 2004 - Seagull Software (AEX: SEAGULL), a leading provider of software products for connecting legacy applications to Internet architectures, today announced that, in accordance with AEX regulations requiring shareholders who own 5 percent or more of a company's stock to report their ownership, the Company has received reports of a 5.52 percent shareholding from Mr. Marius Ritskes and a 5 percent shareholding of Zuidschroef BV.

The new shareholders join Shell Pensioenfonds Beheer B.V., Fortis Utrecht N.V. and Orange Deelnemingen Fund N.V. and several individual founders of the Company, who also own more than 5 percent of the shares of Seagull Software.
