Een PB over Groundwater ?
In de meeste mijnen moet je pompen om de zaak droog te houden, dat is toch niks nieuws ?

hallo Cointje,
nou ,bij mij is het muntje wel gevallen. Als dat bericht over "water in de mijn " uitlekt zal dat de bedrijfsontwikkeling van CCH.TO behoorlijk stagneren.

Amor, Je weet toch wel, dat de brenger van slecht nieuws meestal flink wordt afgestraft.

Op zich zou het logischer zijn, als de mensen boos zouden worden op degenen die zulke risky aandelen voorstellen.

Ach ja, de mensen zijn vaak onredelijk, so what.
Als we dan tenminste nog maar wat fun kunnen hebben....

GOLD MAY GO HYPERBOLIC, according to the Aden Sisters.

At the New Orleans Investment conference in October, for example, attendance was lower than last year. Several of the speakers also commented on a general lack of enthusiasm.

Considering that these attendees are mostly gold investors, and gold was more than $200 higher than it was last year, this is quite strange. But this nonchalance tells us that gold’s bull market still has a lot further to go. In other words, the normal psychological steps, which happen in any bull market, have barely gotten started.

Normally, for instance, you’ll see the so called smart money go into a developing bull market first. This includes investors who understand the markets and the big picture, some professionals and so on.

As prices rise, more gold bugs will move in, usually followed by some early bird Wall Street types.

This is basically where we are now, in the second phase. But as New Orleans illustrated, this bull market rise is still lacking investor and Wall Street enthusiasm. That’s still to come and we think that’ll probably happen once gold hits a new record high above $850.

During the third phase of a bull market, the public jumps in. The public is usually late to the party and in their collective excitement, they’ll drive prices up to extreme levels. The most recent example of this happened in the late 1990s when tech stocks were all the rage. Everyone was “into high tech” and these stocks were going to keep rising in the “new era,” but of course they didn’t.

As for gold, the public is barely aware of gold’s ongoing rise and they’re not in the market. The reason that’s good is because the longer gold goes without attracting much attention, the higher it will ultimately go once the public starts moving in.

This suggests that the gold price could literally skyrocket at some point to levels far higher than most people are expecting. And with world tensions increasing on several fronts, it’s providing plenty of fuel for the markets.

Ach ja, het zou leuk zijn....maar om daar nou opte gokken, dat lijkt me niet verstandig.
Bij beleggen moet je werken met kansrekening. Gokken op hyperbolic dit of dat, dat is riskant.

Neem nou Campbell. In voorjaar fantastisch winstkansen beloofd @ 0.15. Nu meer dan 1/2 jaar later is de koers 15 % lager. En de omzet is zo laag, dat je niet zoeenvoudig je aandeeltjes weer kwijt raakt, als je dat wilt.

Als goud hyperbolisch wordt, wordt CCH dan ook vanzelfsprekend hyperbolisch ?

Zijn toch 2 verschillende dingen (nog afgezien van het feit dat Campbell hoofdzakelijk 'n kopermijn is), bovendien hebben de meest enthousiaste beleggers in Campbell geen vertrouwen in de management, en management is juist het meest voorname in 'n bedrijf.

Hmm, ik ben wel eens Long CCH geweest, maar gelukkig al tijdje niet meer.
Maar ik mag hier toch wel posten of is dat voorbehouden aan de bullish Longs.
IMHO is het beter eea van diverse kanten te bekijken.
Of toch alleen maar de bullish Longs zoals de HTG ?

Ben het niet met je eens. De daling kan IMO verder doorzetten indien de grote jongens bereid zijn aandelen op te offeren om na elke koopactie aandelen te dumpen om zodoende elke prijsstijging direct in de kiem te smoren. De accumulatiegrafiek die ik in deze draad heb gepost spreekt wat dat aangaat boekdelen. Ik ken geen ander aandeel waar de inname relatief zoveel groter is dan de kleine plukjes die steevast worden gedumpt. En inderdaad, Kees had het hier ook al over, het tijdspad verloopt trager dan verwacht maar dat is op zichzelf niet voldoende reden om de mening bij te stellen wat betreft je verwachtingspatroon indien er geen nieuws is. Gevolg van dit dumpgedrag is natuurlijk wel dat de koers des te harder omhoog zal gaan op het moment dat de seinen op groen komen........

Er zijn een paar andere aandelen in hetzelfde segment waarvan de seinen al op groen staan. Pak die nu eerst eens. Dan kun je met de winst daarvan altijd nog zien.
