Het komt als een vloedgolf het land binnenstromen(van 2 naar 9% rente voor je lening).
Bedacht door "toptalenten" die dreigen de bank te verlaten bij missen bonus.
Dit probleem is niet te deppen, dit moet je uitzitten ....

Had vandaag een verdere downgrading verwacht voor een europees land als het VK, Portugal, Ierland of een IJsland.
De druk wordt verder opgevoerd, het spel kan zomaar jaren duren ...
Blijf short aanhouden om dit soort situaties op te vangen want ze gaan wel degelijk komen ....

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Kaysville, Utah-based Barnes Banking Company, which had $786.5 million in deposits as of Sept. 30, was closed by regulators Friday. The closure marks the fourth bank failure of 2010. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. said it has created the Deposit Insurance National Bank of Kaysville to allow access to the failed bank's deposits and for depositors to open accounts at new institutions. Barnes Banking Company's failure will cost the federal deposit-insurance fund $271.3 million...

Dit weekend slechts drie banken(totaal nu 4 voor 2010).
De bovenstaande bank is wel relatief duur(30% vergokt!)

De internationale beurzen zijn 2010 goed gestart, waarbij de positieve trend uit 2009 zich verder zette. De vraag is echter of die uptrend kan worden vastgehouden. Steeds meer analisten zijn gaan twijfelen aan de houdbaarheid van de huidige rally.
Francis Sempill (Walter Scott & Partners): “De rally op de wereldbeurzen loopt mijn inziens op haar laatste benen. De aandelenkoersen zijn ver vooruit gelopen op goed nieuws. Dat goed nieuws is er inderdaad gekomen, maar het ziet er naar uit dat al het goede nieuws in de koersen verrekend zit. Dat betekent dat het hausse-potentieel opgebruikt is. ”

Het analistenteam van Walter Scott & Partners Ltd., een onderdeel van of BNY Mellon Asset Management, wijst er op dat de MSCI World Index vorig jaar zijn prestatie sinds 2003 neerzette. Sempill: “De index is sinds maart 2009 met ongeveer 75% gestegen, hoofdzakelijk onder impuls van de lage rente in de Verenigde Staten. Aan dat tempo kan de index natuurlijk niet blijven stijgen. Vooral het overspoelen van de markt met liquiditeiten door de centrale banken heeft de rally gevoed, maar dat effect lijkt te zijn uitgewerkt. Voorlopig ontbreken de bewijzen dat het economisch herstel een blijvend karakter heeft gekregen en dat kan de zuurstof wegnemen die de huidige rally heeft gevoed.”

IMF waarschuwt voor nieuwe recessie

Overheden die hun economische stimuleringsmaatregelen te snel terugdraaien, lopen de kans een nieuwe recessie te veroorzaken.

De topman van het Internationaal Monetair Fonds (IMF), Dominique Strauss-Kahn, waarschuwde maandag voor een nieuwe dip in de economie.

De omvangrijke stimuleringsmaatregelen hebben overheden wereldwijd opgezadeld met aanzienlijke tekorten. Dit jaar zullen zij moeten aangeven hoe ze denken die gaten te kunnen dichten. Strauss-Kahn waarschuwt echter voor teveel haast.
