Blink Charging Company shares trade 4.72% lower on Friday.
The price is now in a consolidation mode and the next resistance is at USD 13 per share.

Blink Charging Company (NASDAQ:BLNK) shares are struggling at the end of the week. After the companies great run of late rising 361% since 25th June and now it seems the bulls have stalled. The firm has been winning contracts all over the US and also received a grant to deploy 200 Blink Fast Level 2 charging stations across the mid-Atlantic region, including Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.

Looking closer at the chart, the price has now stalled into a consolidation pattern between USD 14.56 and USD 10 per share. The top of the pattern is marked by the black downward sloping trendline. If this level breaks then the bulls could look to target the high of USD 14.56 per share and maybe keep the trend going. On the bearish side, the price has now broken below the 55 Exponential Moving Average. This is not the end of the world as the price has done this before and moved back higher but it is not a bullish sign.............

Voor de langere termijn vraag ik mij af wat Blink Charging onderscheidend maakt. Ergens heb ik het gevoel dat de markt van het opladen lage toetredingsdrempels kent. Hier in de wijk hebben verschillende huiseigenaren een eigen oplaadpunt aan hun gevel geschroefd, dan moet het toch niet zo erg ingewikkeld zijn denk ik dan. Maar ik heb mij niet echt verdiept in het bedrijf.

Ja, in woonwijken steden en dorpen, ja, daar kunnen inwoners thuis zelf een laadunit installeren. In steden, industrieterreinen, kantoorcomplexen, parkeergarages en langs snelwegen is dit dan wel anders en dus een perspectief. Ze hebben in de VS hier nog een goede uitdaging omdat dat land zo immens groot is en afstanden laadpalen nodig heeft. In europa treden ze binnen via een Griekenland. Hier is dus ook perspectief. Alfen doet dit al goed als Nederlands bedrijf, maar hier is de piek al geweest (misschien wel voor de lange termijn). Laadpaalnetwerken zijn nog niet optimaal en zullen meer nodig zijn als de electrische auto (die momenteel een voorsprong heeft op waterstofvoertuigen) steeds meer zijn intrede doet.

Blink is een exploitant en Alfen een producent (of ook exploitant?).
Blink bedient een bredere geografische markt, Alfen heeft een breder productassortiment.

Veel bedrijven willen oplaadpunten als service aanbieden aan hun klanten. Zoals bijvoorbeeld grote winkels, luchthavens, parkeergarages etc. Voor die bedrijven kan ik mij voorstellen dat zij een partij als Blink in de arm nemen en zeggen regelen jullie het maar. Elk stukje vergoeding dat ze krijgen is meegenomen, maar het is niet hun verdienmodel.

Als ik het goed begrijp moet je als klant ook lid worden van Blink. Als ik nu benzine wil tanken hoef ik geen lid te worden. Dan vraag ik mij af of wij straks allemaal verschillende laadpunten hebben met elk hun eigen app. Of er komt een partij met een standaard app, waar lokale exploitanten zich kunnen aanmelden. Ik kan mij ook voorstellen dat de overheid aanstuurt op zo'n centrale app.

Nogmaals, ik heb mij niet echt verdiept in het bedrijf. Maar dit zijn zo wat van mijn overwegingen.

Dank je, dat probeer ik wel. De sfeer in de groene topics bevalt mij ook. Er zijn andere draadjes dat ik denk waar ben ik nu terecht gekomen, zoals bijvoorbeeld Shell. Dat vind ik dan jammer, want het is juist een bedrijf waar je interessante discussies over kunt voeren.

Baal er wel van dat ik niet Lucid heb ingekocht enkele weken geleden. Wachtte op nog een dipje. Nu te laat >100% stijging vandaag. Ja, da's jammer....
Om de pijn te verminderen maar een kleine portie DPHC gekocht.
Merger met Lordstown Motors komt eraan. Zij hebben de link met Workhorse Group (WKHS = 10% eigenaar en krijgt per order een bijdrage).

OMG.
Dacht ik dat ik al maanden Lucid aan het volgen was op de OTC markt. Was dat dus Lucid Inc. Een pharming bedrijf. Dit aandeel heeft vandaag inderdaad 200% winst gemaakt.
Bijna dik geld verdiend met een verkeerd aandeel.
Wat een nerd ben ik.....
Lucid Motors heeft nog geen aandelen (alleen via een tussenbedrijf te krijgen, dus)

Veel gehoorde kritiek is dat het huidige elektranet nu al aan de max zit en het niet aan zou kunnen als wij massaal elektrisch gaan rijden. Dat is op basis van de traditionele situatie met centrale productie en een centraal netwerk. De combinatie van groene productie met opslag biedt mogelijkheden om lokaal zelfvoorzienend te zijn. Dat kan voor individuele woningen, appartement (via VVE of verhuurder), kantoren, parkeergarages, wijken, dorpen etc. Denk aan micro grids. Voor hetzelfde geld is het probleem van het centrale elektranet al opgelost voordat de oplossing is gevonden. Ik zeg niet dat het zo gaat gebeuren, maar ik acht het ook niet onmogelijk.

Terug naar de auto. Los van een keer een vakantie, volstaat bij een elektrische auto met een goede batterij deze manier van opladen voor verreweg de meeste kilometers. De gemiddelde personenwagen doorkruist niet het hele jaar 'met de vlam in de pijp' heel Europa. Dat doet zelfs een groot deel van de vrachtwagens niet eens.

Verder wordt bij het vergelijk van bijvoorbeeld batterij en waterstof veel gesproken over zaken als efficiency. Zelf maak ik mij eerder zorgen over de vervuilingen eromheen. Als je bijvoorbeeld leest dat met regenwater (zware) metalen vrijkomen van zonnepanelen (die dan weer in het grondwater terecht komen?). Of als ik lees over kobalt en onder welke omstandigheden dat (door kinderen) wordt gedolven en wat is de impact op het milieu aan het einde van de levensduur.
