Building Work Begins On New High School In East Yorkshire
BAM Construction has started building work on a new high school development in East Yorkshire.
Withernsea High School is being built to replace its old school building.
The school is one of nine projects in the region to get underway as part of the government's 3€bn Priority School Building Programme (PSBP) to rebuild or refurbish 260 of the schools in England in the worst condition.

The new site will include a new three-floor school block and refurbish part of the existing building, allowing the school to take up to 1,000 pupils including 150 students in the sixth form.
The school's new building is due for completion by August 2015, and the full site is expected to be completed by June 2016.
In total, nine schools will be rebuilt or refurbished under the PSBP in the Hull and East Riding area. Withernsea High School is one of four projects being rebuilt or refurbished by BAM Construction across the region.
