ter info - kleine update TomTom
" solid unit sales growth major Tom Tom customers in October "
ACEA has reported the sales number for October and these bode well for TT
Renault sold 17% more units
Peugeot sold 17% more units
Citroën sold 7% more units
Hyundai sold 8% more units
Kia sold 10% more units
VW, a map client in Europe on certain models reported unit growth of 5% with FIAT only reporting 2% growth for the FIAT brand, but 19% growth for Alfa Romeo
Toyota a user of TT Traffic on a number of models , reported the strongest growth of 20.5%
Renault and PSA-Citroën are 100% customers of TT automotive, using both the maps, traffic and relates services while the remainder of OEMs mentioned only purchase maps or traffic
TT has already reported better than expected Automotive sales in 3Q17, upping the growth target for FY17 from around 30% to 40% and the October sales numbers provide proof that such a target is realistic if unit sales continue in the same trend in the remainder of FY17
Given consumer cinfidence and the way the European ecoomy is developing, that seems likely.
